DELIVERY OF HEAVY ITEMS AND CHINAWARE
Heavy items are normally sent on a pallet, the pallet will be delivered to outside your property, you will need to remove the items from the pallet and handball them into your property. Your address will need to be beside a hard road and accessible to a large lorry. If your address is not beside a hard road or not accessible to a large lorry, please telephone to place your order. We may be able to make other arrangements for which there may be a surcharge.
The driver will need help to unload large or heavy items – we recommend at least three able people are on hand to help unload the cast iron and bateau baths.
- Orders over £600 are delivered free of charge to Mainland England.
- Delivery charges depend on whether the items ordered are classified as category 1 or category 2:-
- i. Category 1, items that we send by courier (e.g. taps, lights, accessories & toilet seats) Charge £3.50
- ii. Category 2, items that we send on a pallet (fragile, heavy or bulky items e.g. chinaware, tiles or baths) Charge £45.00
These charges are the delivery charges to all the mainland UK postcode areas except those listed below:-
- EH, DG, G, PH, FK, KY, KA, TD, ML, PA.
Any order from these postcode areas will have a surcharge of £65 added to the basic £3.50 or £45 charge above.
e.g. A delivery to postcode area KY of standard only items will cost £3.50 + £65
A delivery to postcode area PH of standard & heavy items will cost £45 + £65
- AB, DD, IV.
Any order from these postcode areas will have a surcharge of £95 added to the basic £3.50 or £45 charge above.
e.g. A delivery to postcode area AB of heavy items only will cost £95 + £45
The website can not accept orders from postcode areas BT, GY, HS, IM, JE, KW, ZE or from other countries.
If you are in one of these areas, please telephone to obtain a delivery price, and to place your order.
We will deliver the goods to the address you specify for delivery in your order. It is important that this address is accurate. Please be precise about where you would like the goods left if you are out when we deliver. We cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage to the goods once they have been delivered in accordance with your delivery instructions (unless this is caused by our negligence). We will aim to deliver the goods by the date quoted for delivery but delivery times are not guaranteed and therefore time is not of the essence. In any event, we will aim to deliver your goods within 30 days from the day after the day we received your order. If delivery is delayed beyond this time, we will contact you and either agree a mutually acceptable alternative date, or offer you a full refund.
You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.
GOODS FOUND DAMAGED OR INCORRECT AFTER DELIVERY
It is your responsibility to inspect the Goods you have received, and advise Us within 24 hours of the receipt of the Goods, if any item has been damaged in transit or is faulty or if you have received an incorrect item or if all the items listed on the delivery note have not been received.
Before opening a shower enclosure box, check the label on the box to ascertain that it is the correct product. Shower enclosures can not be returned once the box has been opened unless they are faulty or damaged.
Do not destroy any packaging until you are sure that all the items are in good condition and are as ordered.
GOODS TO BE RETURNED
Under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 SI 2013/3134 you have the legal right to cancel your order up to 14 calendar days after the day on which you receive your goods (with the exception of any made to order items). You do not need to give us any reason for cancelling your contract nor will you have to pay any penalty. This right to return Goods does not apply to Special Order Goods, non-stock Goods including all nickel and gold finish products, and/or customised Goods such as painted baths or furniture.
Should you wish to cancel your order, you can use the cancellation form provided at the end of these terms and conditions, or alternatively you can notify us by any other clear statement.
You cannot cancel your contract if the goods you have ordered are bespoke (i.e. made or finished to order), such as baths and furniture that has been painted to your chosen colour.
If you have received the goods before you cancel your contract then you must send the goods back to our contact address at your own cost and risk. If you cancel your contract but we have already processed the goods for delivery, you should not unpack the goods when they are received by you and you must send the goods back to us at our contact address at your own cost and risk as soon as possible.
Once you have notified us that you are cancelling your contract, and we have either received the goods back or, if earlier, received evidence that you have sent the goods back, we will refund any sum debited by us from your credit or debit card within 14 calendar days.
We may make a deduction from your refund for any loss in the value of the goods supplied if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you (for example using the goods or damaging the packaging unnecessarily prior to cancellation)

Return delivery of category 1 items costs £18 plus any surcharge for areas listed above.
Return delivery of category 2 items costs £90 plus any surcharge for areas listed above.
