How to Create a

Traditional Bathroom

If you are reading this blog post , it’s likely that you’re looking for inspiration on how to give yourbathroom a traditional style. Whether it be Victorian, Edwardian, Art Deco, or a mixture of modern and classic. Sit bak and relax, we’ll show you how to create a truly old-fashioned bathroom with modern day quality and functionality.

Traditional Toilets

Picking the correct toilet is essential for a traditional bathroom interior. Wall hung toilets tend to match modern bathrooms whereas low, medium and high-level toilets compliment classic interiors. There are both modern and old-fashioned close coupled toilets, but we recommend going for an art deco style toilet to give your bathroom a timeless style. Think rounded pans and avoid modern, square toilets. By just changing to one of these toilets can give your bathroom a vintage appeal rather than renovating your entire bathroom.

Classic Baths

Freestanding baths are the perfect bathroom furniture to create a luxurious and timeless bathroom interior. Both double ended and slipper baths compliment traditional bathrooms. We recommend adding classic style claw feet to your tub for a truly traditional bathroom interior. You can incorporate modern, bold colours but once adding a clawfoot tub you can create a marriage between the old and the new.

Accessories

Whether you’ve settled on a shaker style bathrooms or a glamourous art deco interior, accessories allow for you to include a finishing touch with traditional styles, without breaking the bank. If you’re not looking to fully renovate your bathroom, accessories allow for you to pay homage to Victorian styles as well as install yourself.
