When the tap arrives with you it will be the colour of a brand-new penny and gradually, over time it will dull down to a rich deep brown patina. This Copper Standpipes allows the standpipes to be secured to the wall for extra rigidity, creating a beautifully traditional and yet stable setup. Pair this up with the standpipe support bracket and matching bath shower mixer and this classic old fashioned tap is complete to suit both modern and traditional tubs. Suitable baths will be those with no tap holes like a deep roll top, or rimless like a modern limestone contemporary piece.
